Temecula, CA (December 14, 2016) – The Temecula City Council unanimously approved an Agreement with Truax Development for Old Town Temecula Marketplace. The Agreement allows the project to move forward in the design phase. Construction is anticipated to begin in Fall of 2017. The project will be comprised of two, three-story buildings that will flank Temecula City Hall. Upon completion, it will offer approximately 80 – 90,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.

Temecula Mayor Maryann Edwards commented “We were very particular on the design, style and quality of construction for this cornerstone space in our city. One only needs to look at Bernie Truax and his projects to see why he and his firm are our preferred choice.”
The Marketplace is the next installment on the long-term vision for Old Town Temecula as outlined in the Old Town Specific Plan. The project is located in the “heart” of Old Town and creates a pedestrian oriented mixed-use destination.
