Who We Are
- Truax Development builds and manages class "A" commercial development projects. We specialize in construction project management. Our commercial development investments provide local opportunities.
- Our team has years of industry experience and knowledge to manage your project, large or small, from concept to certificate of occupancy. Our core competency stems from our ability to oversee all aspects of your project.
- Finally, we believe in keeping investments local. We provide opportunities for those that believe in our construction projects to invest in them. With the change in SEC regulations it will now be possible to invest in a project you can touch, see and feel. The first of these offerings will be the Truax Hotel.
Our management Team
Bernie began his career of over 45+ years in the construction and development industries after returning from the service. In 1982, Bernie set out on his own and created Truax Development. Over the years, this company expanded to include a real estate company and a construction project management company.
Shawn Nelson joined our team in 2015 as our Chief Financial Officer. He brings with him over 21 years of experience working with the City of Temecula.
AJ has been working in the role of Controller since 1982 beginning with Truax Dellovade Development. Since then she has controlled the finances and bookkeeping for various family run companies and served as a corporate officer.
Ross Jackson has been with RDI for five years and provides the company with a wealth of construction knowledge in all phases of building construction and tenant improvement work.
John Mueller has 25 years of experience in business management and operations, financial modelling and projections, and strategic and tactical planning. John graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1982 and served on active duty until 1987.
Cathy serves as our Director of Accounting. In this role she has provided a network of support for the Truax Development team. She has a vast of amount of industry specific experience that ensures all financial transactions are processed and documented with the highest degree of confidence.
Gary Thornhill serves as our Director of Business Development.
Bob Woolbert serves as our Director of Information Technologies. He brings to the team years of Information Technology experience and ensures that our company has the digital resources to run efficiently. He graduated from Arizona State University, W. P. Carey School of Business and obtained a B.S. in Business Management. Later he returned to ASU to receive a M.C. in Counseling Psychology. Mr. Woolbert is a former Officer in the U.S. Air Force and has 40 years of providing computer based business solutions to Fortune 500 companies, and small business as well. At Truax, he Designs, implements, and supports a technology strategy and framework for our growing, dynamic company. This Includes network, computers, phones, and other technologies.
Jeff “JJ” Gutowski serves as our Marketing Manager for the Truax Family of Companies. He graduated from California State University San Marcos with a B.S. Business Administration. Mr. Gutowski’s largest responsibilities include overall brand management, internal and external communications, and public relations.
